    Wayne, CEO and co-founder of CroBio, has 30+ years of leadership experience in the Power Generation, Oil & Gas, and Offshore Wind sectors, holding senior roles at notable firms like Rolls Royce and Siemens. His expertise in start-up management, infrastructure, and large-scale project execution, with bid influences from £10M to over £700M, underscores his efficiency and commitment to operational excellence, establishing him as a key figure in the power and renewable energy industries.

  • Ross Mulhall, PhD

    Founder & Chief Scientific Officer

    Ross, Chief Scientific Officer and co-founder of CroBio (established 2019), plays a key role in advancing the company's proprietary technology to address environmental challenges in farming and climate change. With a PhD in Chemistry focused on biomaterials, he brings over a decade of experience in both academia and high-tech R&D.

  • Richard Broglie, PhD

    VP of Business Development & Partnerships

    Richard, with a notable career in agricultural biotechnology, retired as Pivot Bio's Chief Technology Officer in March 2023 and now advises the Phytobiomes Alliance. His 32-year tenure at DuPont and DuPont Pioneer (now Corteva Agriscience) included various leadership roles, and he was a board member at InterMountain Canola LLC. A Rutgers University microbiology graduate, Richard furthered his expertise at The Rockefeller University, contributing over 60 scientific publications and multiple patents. His research spans biotech and microbiome traits in key crops.

  • David Lawrence, PhD

    Advisor

    David , with a distinguished background in agricultural research, formerly held prominent positions at Syngenta, including Non-executive Director and Head of R&D from 2002 to 2009. He has served on the Council of BBSRC, chaired the Industrial Biotechnology Strategy Advisory Panel, and directed Rothamsted Research. Currently, he chairs the UK Knowledge Transfer Network Ltd and Agrimetrics Ltd, is a Director at the Rainbow Seed Fund, and participates in the Nuffield Council on Bioethics.

    Advisor

    Rasmita, Director of the Surface Science Research Centre at the University of Liverpool, excels in creating advanced functional surfaces for various technologies. In 2014, she established 'The Open Innovation Hub for Antimicrobial Surfaces', transforming £30K seed funding into an £8M innovation portfolio, collaborating with corporations, SMEs, and the NHS. Co-director and co-founder of the 'National Biofilms Innovation Centre' (NBIC), Raval has been instrumental in securing £23M Phase 2 funding in 2022. She actively leads anti-infective surface initiatives in regional programs like IICON and ESIF, working with over 150 industries.

    Heather, is a distinguished Professor of Molecular Microbiology at the University of Liverpool, within the Department of Clinical Infection, Microbiology, and Immunology. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Florida's College of Medicine in 1997 and later completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Rochester, supported by the NIH. Since joining Liverpool's faculty in 2001, Dr. Allison has significantly advanced the field of molecular microbiology.
